This post is a picture dump from my iPod that I've been snapping when the other camera is not by me.
We've been going to lots of parks. Emerson loves the swing! 80% of our park time is spent pushing Emerson on the swing, as he says and signs: "More swing please!"
Ophelia loves playing with the camera on my iPod and looking though the pictures on it. Here are some selfies that she took! I did not post a million of other feet, floor, and ceiling pictures that she takes, or trees and flowers pictures...
We've been enjoying our backyard a lot now without the heat. The kids love to lay around on a sheet on the lawn, look at the sky, and eat snacks outside.
Papa is mowing the lawn and Emerson loved watching him:
We've enjoyed watching conference a lot. Ophelia can now be easily occupied with quiet activities and Emerson took naps right during the morning session, so that worked out well. ( Picture courtesy of Ophelia)
Another backyard picture! The kids have been playing so well together lately. And Emerson is understanding sharing and taking turns more and more each day, not to say that we don't fight and yell and get frustrated, we do, but I feel like it's been better lately!
Here Ophelia took a picture of the sky...
Fall and October bring pumpkins to the neighborhood. Emerson loves pumpkins, of course he says "pah-kin" for any pumpkins that he sees, which is a lot!
Emerson says sooo many words now, it's pretty incredible. He still signs a lot too, but he says all he words that he signs: fruits, vegetables, feelings, musical instruments, colors! He recognizes the right color whenever we see anything yellow or pink, sometimes blue or green get switches. He can count to two and he points at letters and tries to say what it is, never right on that one, but it's so cool that he recognizes the letters at all!
We had a few "cold" days in there. Sweater weather, yay!
No matter how cold, he still wants to swing:
Here is our creative little girl enjoying painting pumpkins, which later turned into painting rocks and acorns. Her next idea was to paint her feet rainbow colors and walk in the driveway to make a rainbow. Probably would be cool, but I'll just let her do that with her own kids and deal with that mess on her own :)
She is done painting now and so I am finishing up with this fall post, right from the front porch, from my iPod.
